One of the projects completed under the CNN Partnership Design Fellowship curriculum.
The challenge was to create a newsletter for the CNN reader based on a topic of choice. Utilizing data from industry trends and reports, the final product was to be applied to various digital devices, mobile, tablet and desktop, while showing documentation of the process from research to final iteration.
Drawing inspiration from the previous brand mark, the proposed new logo retains some of the color elements of the original mark while updating the letter-forms and brand elements utilizing traditional hand-crafted lettering to create a mark that truly reflects the in a dynamic, creative personality of their customers, freeing them from the previous box to evoke a personal connection with the creative spirit of brand.
Mucca Promotional Book
Mucca means ‘cow’ in Italian, and is the name of the design company headed by Matteo Bologna in New York. The brief was to create a book and ‘container’ that would be sent out to current and potential clients. The fur was an ode to Matteo’s Dalmatian, (whom the company is named after) and his iconic mustache.
Social Issues Poster on Sex Trafficking
This project was an entry for the annual Savannah Traffick Jam, a gathering of members of the state and local government, law enforcement, social services, and education agencies in an effort to address the problem of Human Trafficking. Savannah Inter-agency Diversity Council (SIDC) is the sponsor of the annual event.
The goal was not only to make the viewer get the message at a glance, but also make them slightly uncomfortable, as one would imagine the victims of the trade are. Luba Lukova’s iconic posters were my style inspiration for this project.
Yorubalingo App Design
YorubaLingo is a language app that will teach the basics of the Yoruba language, numbers, alphabets, names and their interpretations and objects. the App will include quizzes and games with some interactive listen and repeat features.
This project required creating a new look for a smaller company. Ruff n Tumble is Children’s clothing store based in West Africa. The store recently added a wider range of sizes to its stock and the new logo seeks to integrate the older age groups the store now supplies.
West African Art
West African Art was my choice for a promo book project for the paper company Mohawk. The brief was to showcase the different types paper and cards produced by the company utilizing various printing techniques; die-cuts, spot lamination, inserts, folds and at least 2 methods of binding.
The goal of this project was to take researched content from the history of Graphic Design, pick a design movement and iconic designers within that movement, and create a stamp series, first-day cover, a custom cancellation seal, brochures with information about the design period the designers, and envelopes, all within a cohesive design system.
Fashion Museum Exhibit Invitation
The brief was to develop and produce designs for the Savannah College of Art (SCAD) Fashion Museum Exhibit; Guo Pei: Couture Beyond invitation cards. The cards were to utilize different papers, incorporate unique and complex die-cuts and lamination. They were also required to have matching envelopes and an RSVP card in its own envelope.

The goal of the project was to develop visuals for a new design company. This would include creating a logo, a stationery set featuring sample business proposal letters, forms and a few promotional items.
The company specializes in design for branding, print and web. The goal of the company is to see their clients’ businesses succeed, through a hands-on approach and guarantee clients needs are met throughout every step of the design process.
